SJWD’s primary function is to ensure the availability of adequate water supply to our service area. However, we are fortunate in Spartanburg County that residents can enjoy our lakes as well, whether on a boat or with a fishing rod in hand.

In order to protect the reservoirs as a reliable source of drinking water, policies and procedures have been enacted. These limited restrictions help guard both the reservoirs, and the buffer zone around the lakes owned by SJWD.
